Black Friday Weekend in Jaipur 2026: Where to Shop, and Where to End the Day with a Royal Dinner
Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, 27
November. In India, the sales run mainly through malls, brand stores and online
platforms from Friday to Sunday, and online offers often continue to Cyber
Monday on 30 November. Traditional Jaipur bazaars usually run on bargaining,
not Black Friday banners. Plan your shopping by area, then end the day with a
thali dinner at Virasat Heritage
Restaurant in Kukas, open 11 AM to 11 PM.
What Black Friday means in India
Black Friday is the Friday after US
Thanksgiving. In India, it has grown into a post-Diwali
sale window that brands and malls use to refill the quiet weeks between the
festive season and Christmas. For families, it also makes a handy reason for a
weekend outing, which is why shopping and a proper sit-down dinner now go
together.
In 2026, the dates line up like this:
•
Friday, 27 November: Black Friday
•
Saturday and Sunday, 28 and
29 November: the rest of the sale weekend
•
Monday, 30 November: Cyber Monday (online)
•
Tuesday, 1 December: a weekly off for some Old City markets (see below)
Where to shop in Jaipur on Black Friday weekend
Jaipur has two shopping styles, and they
behave differently on a sale weekend. Malls and brand stores are where Black
Friday offers show up. Bazaars are where you bargain and shop for craft,
jewellery and textiles. Discounts change from brand to brand, so check each
brand's own app or store notice. We have not listed discount percentages
because they differ by store.

Mall or bazaar? Pick mall if you want brand deals and air-conditioned comfort. Pick
bazaar if you want Jaipur-made things such as lac bangles, block-print fabric
or mojaris. Don't mix both on one day. The malls and the Walled City sit in
different parts of the city, and weekend traffic eats the hours.
Five tips for a smoother sale weekend
1.
Choose one area per day. A mall day and a bazaar day are easier than one very long day.
2.
Check weekly closures first. Several Old City lanes close one day a week, so confirm with the
shop before you travel.
3.
Compare before you buy. Online sales run until Cyber Monday, so check prices for
electronics and appliances online.
4.
Book dinner before you leave
home. Weekend tables fill up. A booking saves you
from hunting for a restaurant at 9 PM with tired kids and shopping bags.
5.
Dress for winter evenings. Late November nights in Jaipur are cool, which matters if you shop
outdoors in the bazaars.
Three Black Friday weekend plans that end with dinner
These plans are built around geography. The
malls are on the south side of the city, the bazaars are in the middle, and
Virasat is on Delhi Road in Kukas, on the north side. Move north through the
day and you avoid backtracking.

Plan A: The family mall day (Saturday)
Start at World Trade Park or another mall when
it opens at 11 AM, before the weekend crowd builds. Finish the shopping list
first and the fun second. Keep an early snack at the mall, and leave by about 5
PM so you reach Kukas before the evening rush. Virasat is on Delhi Road, about
20 km from Jaipur Junction railway station, so plan the drive and don't
squeeze it in at the last minute.
If you have children, they can join the Royal Kids Program
while the adults rest their feet. See our list of family
restaurants in Jaipur for how the options compare.
Plan B: Bazaar, fort and feast (Sunday)
Spend the afternoon in Johari Bazaar and
Bapu Bazaar. Buy the portable things first: mojaris, block-print fabric, lac
bangles and jewellery. Then head north to Amer Fort for the evening. From
October to February the Amer
light and sound show runs an English show at 6:30 PM and a Hindi show at
7:30 PM, each about 50 to 55 minutes, with tickets separate from the fort
entry. Confirm timings before you go.
From Amer, Virasat is about 15 minutes
away, and it stays open until 11 PM, so a late dinner works. That is the
benefit of this route: bazaar in the day, fort at dusk, dinner at the end, all
moving in one direction.
Plan C: Friday-night group dinner (Black Friday itself)
For office teams and friend groups, Friday
evening is the easiest slot because the weekend crowds have not started. Tell
the restaurant your group size when you book. Planning a bigger team evening?
Our year-end
team dinner guide covers the planning side.
Driving in from Delhi for the weekend?
Kukas sits on the Jaipur–Delhi highway before you reach the city, so a thali
dinner is a natural first stop. Our Delhi
to Jaipur by road guide explains the two routes and the food stops.
Why end a shopping day at Virasat
A mall food court feeds you. A heritage
dinner gives the day an ending. Guests at Virasat are welcomed with tilak and a
garland, seated in a palace-style hall and served an unlimited, 100% pure
vegetarian Sampoorna Rajasthani Thali with 25+ delicacies, while folk musicians
and dancers perform. The restaurant has been open since 2006 and has more than
2,900 Google reviews at a 4.0 rating.

alcohol, so it is not the right choice if your group wants a bar.

Lehsun Ki Chutney Recipe: The Red Garlic Chutney for Baati and Bajra Roti
Lehsun ki chutney is a fiery Rajasthani red garlic chutney made by crushing fresh garlic with soaked dried red chillies, salt and a little cumin. For about four people, use 20 garlic cloves, 10 dried red chillies, three-quarters of a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of cumin and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Crush it coarse, finish with a spoon of oil or ghee, and serve it with dal baati churma, bajra roti or kachori. For a version that keeps longer, cook the paste briefly in oil. Some foods are not side dishes. They are the reason you finish the main dish. In a Rajasthani meal, lehsun ki chutney is one of them: a small, red, fierce spoonful that wakes up a ghee-soaked baati and turns a plain bajra roti into something you remember.
