Yes. Our Best restaurant on Delhi Road, Kukas, sits on the route towards Amer Fort and Delhi, so it is easy to combine a royal Rajasthani thali lunch or dinner with a day of sightseeing.

We are open every day from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and both lunch and dinner are served. Individual dining halls may run slightly different service windows, so please call ahead if you are planning around a specific time.

Virasat has been welcoming guests since 2006 and has grown into one of the best-known heritage restaurants in Jaipur, with four dining halls and a wedding venue on one campus.

Virasat is a heritage-themed Rajasthani restaurant designed like a royal palace darbar, with gold-carved jharokhas, painted ceilings, chandeliers and traditional low bajot seating. We serve an unlimited pure vegetarian Sampoorna Rajasthani Thali, along with live folk music and dance.

Virasat has four restaurants under one heritage roof: Swarn Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, The Jaipar and Jodhana. Each one offers a different mood, menu and style of dining.

Swarn Mahal is our golden darbar hall, inspired by the palaces of Jaipur, with gold-leaf details and Rajasthani architecture. It seats up to 120 guests and is dedicated to the Sampoorna Rajasthani Thali experience, with live music and private celebration rooms.

Sheesh Mahal is our mirror palace restaurant in Jaipur, inspired by the mirror palaces of Amer and Jaipur. Candle-lit reflections, hand-painted ceilings and gold-accented tableware create an intimate setting for Rajasthani thali and North Indian thali. It hosts up to 100 guests.

The Jaipar is our Jaipur-themed restaurant on the same campus. It is designed for guests who want a quicker meal from an à-la-carte menu of Rajasthani, North Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes.

Jodhana is our dining hall inspired by Marwar, celebrating the flavours and spirit of Jodhpur's royal heritage.

Choose Swarn Mahal for the grand darbar and the full Sampoorna Rajasthani Thali experience. Choose Sheesh Mahal for a quieter, candle-lit evening. Choose The Jaipar when you want a quick à-la-carte meal, and Jodhana if Marwar flavours are what you are after.

Sheesh Mahal is our most popular choice for a candlelight dinner in Jaipur. Its mirror-work interiors glow softly in candlelight, and a private dining room is available for special occasions.

The Sampoorna Rajasthani Thali is a rotating selection of more than 25 items. It includes a welcome drink, starters, Dal Baati Churma, Gatte ki Sabzi, Ker Sangri, Panchmel Dal, Bajra Roti, Missi Roti, seasonal vegetables, rice, chutneys, papad and buttermilk. Traditional desserts such as Malpua, Rabri and Churma Laddoo complete the meal.

Yes. Our unlimited Rajasthani thali is served by attendants at your table, and you are welcome to ask for another helping of any dish you enjoy.

The Rajasthani thali price at Virasat is typically in the range of ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 per person for lunch and dinner, with the thali at Sheesh Mahal listed at ₹3,000. The Jaipar offers quicker Rajasthani, North Indian, Chinese and Continental meals at roughly ₹600 to ₹800 per person. Yes, at The Jaipar. It serves an à-la-carte menu of Rajasthani, Punjabi and North Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes. Swarn Mahal is dedicated to the thali experience.

Takeaway is available for select items, so please call ahead. We do not offer home delivery at the moment.

Walk-ins are welcome. However, on weekends, holidays and during the tourist season we strongly recommend booking in advance through our online booking page or by phone.

Yes. Group bookings of 10 or more guests must be reserved in advance so we can arrange seating and service for everyone.

No. Traditional floor (bajot) seating is our signature experience, but table-and-chair seating is available for guests who prefer it or have mobility needs. Just mention your preference while booking.

Most guests spend 60 to 90 minutes with us, enjoying the thali along with the folk performances. There is no strict time limit on regular days, though during peak hours we may request that tables be released after 90 minutes.

Lunch and dinner are both served every day. Weekends, holidays and the tourist season are the busiest, so a weekday visit is usually calmer. Whenever you come, booking ahead is the safest way to secure your table.

Absolutely. Families are our most frequent guests. High chairs, chair seating and step-free access to the main hall are available. Please tell us about any special requirement in advance and we will arrange it.

Yes. We offer step-free access to the main hall and chair seating, so guests who cannot sit on the floor can still enjoy the full experience.

Yes. Our Royal Kids Program lets children dress as kings and queens, receive a charan-dhulai welcome, walk in a royal procession and sit in the darbar hall for folk music and heritage classes. For schools and colleges, we run the Royal Educational Trip, a curriculum-friendly heritage excursion.

Yes. Sheesh Mahal, with its candle-lit interiors and private dining room, suits small family celebrations especially well. Since outside food is not permitted, please speak to our team in advance if you are planning to bring a cake.
